Bath and shower

The developments in spa and wellness culture over the last few years have had a profound impact on the design of bathrooms: they have grown in size and have become  relaxation and living spaces. Another trend is to combine the bathroom and the bedroom into one room. Often the bath tub is placed in the best position in the room, perhaps with a view to the outside. Can these trends be reconciled with the global need to save water?

On average we use around 45 litres of water every day  for bathing and washing ourselves. To fill a standard  bath tub will  require 150 litres or more – depending on how deep you like your bath!. Taking a shower will obviously help save water.

VOLA now offers a free standing shower, which responds very well to the current trends in bathroom culture and at the same time fulfils the requirement of saving energy:

Since its beginning Vola products have always been based on the highest design standards. The products are modern, timeless, easy to use and well renowned for their longevity.

The new freestanding shower System FS3 with thermostat, embodies the VOLA character in its purest form: it is compact, slender and the design is sculpted. It is distinguished by its simple geometrical shape which will please all purist VOLA followers. The FS3 seeks to mimic natural rainfall, but unlike nature the intensity and the temperature of the   water can easily be adjusted!

When buying a shower-head the benchmark for water flow should be 12 litres per minute or less. This is currently the best efficiency standard.
